Update and expectations for the next demo! (and other stuff)


Hey everyone!

Thank you all so much for the reception on MOTORFISH so far. I've received tons of great feedback about the game and I'm glad it's resonated with so many people. A friend of mine, whehw, made this killer piece of fanart for the game too (you might end up seeing this in promotional stuff lmao).

During this time I've been hard at work in adding a new mechanic to the game:


FLICKING (or maybe a punch? I haven't decided yet)

Flicking bullets and certain enemies will throw them into the air for a short time, allowing you to more easily hit them. Not only that but hitting certain projectiles and enemies after flicking them will change how they interact. It doesn't show it in the gif, but hitting an urchin while it's in the air will launch it at your enemies!

Enemies moving forward will be designed to have weaknesses to certain attacks but resistances to other attacks, so some enemies may be bullet proof but will instantly die when parried. I have a lot of stuff planned for this game and I'm welcome to answer any questions you may have!
